Ross Park Zoo

Ross Park Zoo is a historic community zoo in Binghamton, founded in 1875 and described by the zoo as America's fifth zoo. Its long history remains part of its identity, but the institution is also focused on reimagining its role as a modern zoo while maintaining strong community connections. The current collection includes 34 species, giving the destination a relatively compact scale compared with large metropolitan zoos.
