Orlando, FL
A hands-on science museum combining interactive exhibits with live demonstrations, immersive theaters, and a nature-focused Life gallery featuring rainforest, ocean, and Florida swamp habitats with live animals.
Orlando Science Center is a large, hands-on science museum where interactive exhibits cover subjects ranging from engineering and Earth science to dinosaurs, space, and the natural world. The four-floor experience is designed around active exploration, with visitors encouraged to experiment, solve problems, examine fossils, and engage with live science programs rather than simply view static displays.
For wildlife-focused visits, the Life exhibit provides the strongest connection to animals and habitats. Its Rainforest, Ocean, and Swamp environments recreate distinct ecosystems and feature free-flying rainforest birds, sloths, tamarins, reef fish, sharks, alligators, turtles, and other animal ambassadors. The broader museum adds DinoDigs, an exhibit centered on dinosaurs and ancient marine life, along with an eight-story domed theater offering planetarium shows and giant-screen films. Orlando Science Center suits travelers who want wildlife to be part of a broader science experience, particularly those interested in combining live animals with interactive learning about ecosystems, Earth, and space.
