Wild Animal Safari

Wild Animal Safari combines a drive-through safari with a walkabout zoo, giving visitors two different ways to explore its animal collection. The safari covers a five-mile trail where more than 300 animals can be viewed from a vehicle, creating a more open-range experience than a conventional zoo. The destination is designed around animal viewing and feeding rather than a compact sequence of traditional exhibits.

The Walkabout Adventure Zoo adds more than 50 species, along with exhibits and a petting zoo, so the visit continues on foot after the drive. Animals highlighted by the park include zebras, llamas, bison, tigers, giraffes, and lemurs. Guests can also arrange separate animal encounters for closer experiences with selected species. The combination makes Wild Animal Safari particularly suited to travelers who want the variety of a zoo with the vehicle-based format of a safari park. Its two-part layout also allows visitors to divide their time between a longer drive through animal habitats and a more conventional walking area.
