Wild Animal Safari

Wild Animal Safari is a drive-through wildlife park in Pine Mountain built around a 2.5-mile safari route through large outdoor habitats. More than 300 animals are represented, including zebras, giraffes, bison, llamas, wildebeest, camels, and other exotic species. Visitors can observe and photograph animals from their vehicles, with feeding opportunities adding an interactive element to the drive. The open-road format gives the experience a different rhythm from a conventional zoo, as animals are viewed across larger outdoor areas rather than through a sequence of indoor galleries.

The visit also includes the Walkabout Adventure Zoo, a separate walk-through area with animals such as tigers, brown bears, sloths, macaws, wolves, squirrel monkeys, and red kangaroos. Animal encounters provide closer experiences with selected species and are led by members of the conservation and education team, who discuss animal care, habitats, diets, and conservation. Wild Animal Safari suits travelers who want a vehicle-based wildlife experience but also value traditional exhibits and closer animal encounters within the same visit.
