A drive-through safari park in the Texas Hill Country where hundreds of animals roam across seven pastures, with guided tractor tours offering a closer look at camels, deer, zebras, antelope, and other species.
The Exotic Resort Zoo is a family-owned safari park built around drive-through wildlife viewing in the Texas Hill Country. Rather than a conventional exhibit-by-exhibit zoo, the experience takes place across seven pastures where animals from different parts of the world roam freely among one another. The park currently describes its collection as more than 700 animals representing over 50 species.
Visitors can explore the pastures in their own vehicle or join a guided tractor tour, creating a more open and interactive style of wildlife viewing. The collection includes dromedary camels, Grant zebras, North American bison, red kangaroos, ostriches, several species of deer, and numerous antelope and sheep breeds. Many animals may approach vehicles for food, while the guided option adds commentary about the animals and ways to interact with them. The combination of drive-through access, free-roaming herds, and guided tours makes the park particularly suited to travelers looking for an informal safari-style visit rather than a traditional zoo layout.
