Crocodile Encounter

Crocodile Encounter is a specialized wildlife facility in Angleton centered on crocodilians and reptile education. The five-acre property is designed entirely around boardwalks, allowing visitors to explore animal habitats on foot while viewing species from the crocodilian group alongside other reptiles and some mammals. Its collection includes American alligators, Nile crocodiles, lizards, turtles, tortoises, and other reptiles, giving the destination a strongly focused character rather than the broad range of a conventional zoo.

Visitors can choose between a self-guided walk and a guided Big Croc Tour. The guided experience includes keeper-led feeding of large crocodiles and alligators, multiple animal interactions, access to the tortoise field, and a supervised opportunity to have a photograph taken with a baby alligator.
