Chahinkapa Zoo

Chahinkapa Zoo is an 18-acre community zoo in Wahpeton, North Dakota, with more than 70 species representing six continents. Founded in 1933 with a small collection of local animals, it has grown into a broader wildlife destination while retaining its connection to Chahinkapa Park and the surrounding prairie landscape.
