Brevard Zoo

Brevard Zoo combines a diverse animal collection with experiences that encourage visitors to engage with nature in ways that go beyond traditional exhibit viewing. The zoo is organized around regions including Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australia, and Florida, with naturalistic habitats connected by shaded walking paths. Its strong emphasis on conservation and local wildlife complements a collection that includes mammals, birds, reptiles, and other species from around the world.

Visitors can see giraffes, rhinos, jaguars, kangaroos, monkeys, alligators, and many other animals while exploring exhibits designed to create a relaxed, outdoor experience. What sets Brevard Zoo apart is the opportunity to view parts of the collection from the water through guided kayaking in Expedition Africa or self-guided paddling in the Wild Florida wetlands, an experience rarely offered at zoological parks.
