A zoo with a strong reptile focus, known for its diverse snake collection alongside mammals, birds, and other wildlife, with interactive animal shows and hands-on encounters that emphasize close observation and keeper-led experiences.
Animal World & Snake Farm Zoo grew from a historic roadside snake attraction into a zoological park with a much broader collection of wildlife. Snakes and other reptiles remain a defining part of the experience, with the zoo highlighting a diverse collection that includes species such as black mambas, king cobras, Burmese pythons, alligators, and tortoises. The collection also extends to mammals and birds, including jaguars, clouded leopards, lemurs, otters, zebras, and macaws.
The visitor experience emphasizes interaction as much as traditional animal viewing. Keeper-led presentations and animal shows provide opportunities to learn about different species, while private encounters offer hands-on experiences with selected animals such as capybaras, fennec foxes, lemurs, tortoises, and snakes. A petting zoo adds another interactive area, while the zoo's education programs connect animal care and wildlife conservation with the visitor experience. Its combination of reptile specialization, varied animal collection, and participatory programming makes it particularly appealing to travelers interested in snakes and close animal encounters.
