San Diego Animal Sanctuary & Farm™

San Diego Animal Sanctuary & Farm, also known as Alpine Acres Sanctuary Farm, is a nonprofit animal sanctuary in Alpine, California, dedicated to rescuing and caring for animals in need. The facility provides a safe home for farm animals and exotic species that have been abandoned, neglected, or surrendered. Its mission centers on animal welfare, humane care, and helping visitors better understand the needs of animals.

The sanctuary offers opportunities for visitors to meet resident animals and learn about their individual stories and care. The farm setting creates a more personal experience than a traditional zoo, with an emphasis on compassion, education, and connection with animals. Programs and visits focus on responsible animal guardianship and the importance of providing appropriate lifelong care for rescued animals. San Diego Animal Sanctuary & Farm suits travelers looking for a small-scale sanctuary experience centered on rescued animals, educational interaction, and learning about the work involved in maintaining a safe refuge for animals in need.
