Odessa Animal Sanctuary

Odessa Animal Sanctuary is a nonprofit wildlife refuge in Odessa, Florida, dedicated to rescuing and caring for exotic animals in need of permanent homes. The sanctuary provides a safe environment for animals that have been abandoned, neglected, surrendered, or are otherwise unable to return to the wild. Its work focuses on animal welfare and lifelong care rather than operating as a traditional public zoo.

The sanctuary's residents include exotic cats and other wildlife, with each animal receiving individualized care based on its needs and history. Public information about visitor experiences and available programs is limited, so the facility is best understood primarily as a working sanctuary rather than a conventional attraction with regular exhibits or broad visitor activities. Odessa Animal Sanctuary's role centers on providing refuge for displaced animals and increasing awareness about the challenges of keeping exotic wildlife in human care.
