Nashville, TN
A restaurant built around a 200,000-gallon tropical aquarium, combining full-service dining with views of sharks, rays, eels, and reef fish, plus daily diver feedings and optional behind-the-scenes experiences.
Aquarium Restaurant in Nashville combines full-service dining with a large tropical aquarium that forms the centerpiece of the restaurant. The 200,000-gallon saltwater tank surrounds the dining area and holds more than 100 species of aquatic life, giving diners views of sharks, rays, moray eels, guitarfish, and tropical reef fish from their tables. The setting makes the restaurant as much about marine life observation as the meal itself.
The experience extends beyond the main dining tank. Daily diver presentations include fish feeding demonstrations, while a smaller walk-through aquarium and additional saltwater exhibits provide other opportunities to view marine life. Behind-the-scenes tours led by marine biologists cover the aquarium's filtration systems, food preparation, touch tank, and the upper area of the main tank. Mystic Mermaid performances are also offered as part of the restaurant's programming. Aquarium Restaurant is best suited to travelers who want to combine a meal with aquarium viewing and interactive marine-life programming rather than visiting a standalone aquarium.
